Four must-see comedy acts in Dubai this June.

There is nothing funny about temperatures above 40 °C or humidity levels above 50 percent. As far as weather is concerned, June is probably one of the least funny months—but the same cannot be said about the entertainment scene in the city this month.

From annual favourites like the Whose Line is it Anyway to the nearly sold-out Michael McIntyre show, this month is filled with world-class comedy acts. So even if the soaring temperature makes you want to curl up in your air-conditioned apartment until summer ends, there are reasons plenty to laugh. Here is our pick for the month:

Michael McIntyre Live in Dubai

Michael McIntyre has previously released three best-selling DVDs including Live and Laughing and Hello Wembley. He will be performing live in Dubai at 8pm from Friday, 7th – Saturday, 8th June 2013 at the Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre. Whose Line is It Anyway

A personal favourite, every year members of the Comedy Club Store descend upon the Madinat Theatre for a few nights of stand-up improv-hilarity. Wayans Brothers Stand Up Comedy Show

For their first ever comedy show, Shawn and Marlon Wayans are coming to Dubai from Friday, 21st – Saturday, 22nd June 2013. Best known for their work in Little Man, White Chicks, Scary Movie 1 and 2 and their most recent work, Haunted House, this is bound to be a night of many laughs.
