One desk, one mission
Betterhomes began at Linda Mahoney’s dining table in Jumeirah with a simple belief: real estate should feel human. That belief turned into a mission to help people find homes they truly love.
1988
Our first office
We opened our first official office on Jumeirah Beach Road. What started at one desk quickly became a growing team helping more clients across Dubai.
1992
Leasing and Property Management
As more families settled in Dubai, we launched Residential Leasing in 1991 to help them find the right home. By 1992, Property Management was born, giving landlords long-term support and peace of mind beyond the contract.
2000
Shaping Dubai’s property market
We became a founding member of Dubai Property Group, supporting large-scale developments that would transform the city. It was a moment that connected us to the future of real estate in Dubai.

Dubai Property Group association
Betterhomes becomes the founding member of Dubai Property Group part of the Dubai Holding group. Dubai Properties core activity is the development of large scale residential and commercial property developments within the Emirate of Dubai.
2001
Going digital early
Our first website went live, making it easier for clients to search and discover homes. At a time when online real estate was new, we put Dubai property on the map.
2002
Sales take off
With freehold ownership opening to expats, we launched Residential Sales. Suddenly, thousands of buyers and sellers could trust us with life-changing decisions.
2003
An exclusive appointment
Union Properties appointed Betterhomes as the exclusive brokerage for Green Community. It marked one of our first major partnerships with a master developer.
2005
Expanding into commercial
We launched Commercial Sales and Leasing, helping businesses find their space to grow in Dubai. It gave companies the same trusted service families had long relied on.

Commercial real estate department
The first vehicle fleet hit Dubai's roads. Betterhomes expands into commercial sales and leasing.
2007
Raising standards
The Dubai government established the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA). Our own in-house training programme was shared to help shape the agency’s curriculum, raising standards across the industry.

Betterliving Magazine
We launched Betterliving, a lifestyle and property magazine filled with insights, guides, and inspiration. It brought real estate to life in a new way for our clients

Betterhomes launches its official publication and magazine which features useful guides and tips on everything real estate and interior design.
2014
A new headquarters
Our head office moved to Vision Tower in Business Bay, right in the centre of Dubai’s growing skyline. It reflected both our growth and our commitment to the city.

Clarity Conveyancing
We expanded into conveyancing services with Clarity, giving clients smoother, faster, and more transparent property transactions.

The Betterhomes group keeps on growing

A new identity
We rebranded from Better Homes to Betterhomes. Alongside a new visual identity and website, the change reinforced a modern, unified brand.

The company rebrands into Betterhomes, with a completely new visual identity to bhomes.com website.
2019
Diversifying services
We launched CRC, a dedicated commercial real estate brand, alongside new valuation services. That same year, we opened a new office in Motor City to serve more communities.

Betterhomes acquires A&Co
A&Co, a boutique, UK-style estate agency based in Dubai, joins Betterhomes

A new commercial real estate firm
Betterhomes rebrands its commercial arm to CRC and launches a valuations department

Expanding its presence
Betterhomes opens a new office in Motor City, marking its fourth outfit in the UAE

Expanding support
We introduced mortgage services, offering clients access to independent brokers and the best rates in the market. That year also saw the launch of Linda’s Real Estate, a boutique brokerage focused on villa communities, named after our founder.

Building people
We opened the Betterhomes Academy, training the next generation of agents. It reinforced our belief that people are at the heart of every move.
2021
Growing the group
We launched Bridgeway Trust, offering residence and citizenship by investment solutions. We also unveiled DesignFit, an interior design and fit-out company, and welcomed Strata Global to manage owners’ associations and support developers.

Expanding presence and luxury
We opened a new office in Abu Dhabi’s Al Zeina and later launched PRIME by Betterhomes, a bespoke service for high-net-worth clients. That same year, CRC also expanded into Abu Dhabi.

We launched Open Hub Corporate Services to help startups and entrepreneurs establish their businesses in the UAE. It extended our services beyond homes into the wider community of growth.

We launched Development Sales & Consultancy to help bring new projects to market and expanded our Learning & Development division to strengthen our people. Most importantly, we secured affiliations with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® and Luxury Portfolio International®, connecting your Dubai property to buyers and investors worldwide.
