Atlantis, The Palm: The crown jewel of the Palm Jumeirah

If luxury had an address, Atlantis, The Palm would definitely be it. This iconic five-star resort situated at the very top of the Palm Jumeirah island has been riding the wave of the best holiday destinations in the world since it opened its doors in 2008 with no sign of stopping any time soon.

A world in itself, it is surrounded by stunning views of the glistening waters of the Arabian Gulf and, in true Dubai fashion, houses two of the grandest underwater suites in the world. Atlantis, The Palm is the epitome of beachside holiday extravagance and is an ideal getaway not only for individuals or couples but also for families. There is something for everyone here, from beach lovers to adrenaline junkies and young children, so that every member of the family can have a memorable vacation experience.

All you have to do is kick back, relax and enjoy the best of what Dubai has to offer.

Staying at Atlantis, The Palm

Rooms

The hotel has 1,548 rooms, divided into single rooms, suites, and signature suites. Rooms come with either one king-size or two queen-size beds and 24-hour room service. Visitors can fall asleep to views of Dubai’s glittering skyline and the Palm Jumeirah itself or if they fancy the beach, ocean view rooms with picturesque views of the Arabian Gulf are also available.

The rooms are nautical-themed and are decked out with all amenities one could possibly think of. No longer do you have to worry about last-minute packing fails. These rooms have got you covered from hairdryers and irons, to minibars and all the ingredients you need to make a killer cup of coffee or tea.

Suites

The suites are on the same level, if not more, of opulence as the rooms and are more appropriate for families with multiple members, owing to the space. The Executive Suite is for those who can’t quite leave their work in the office as it comes with a separate dining area and workspace.

As the name suggests, the Terrace Suite is popular for its massive terrace in where visitors can indulge in al fresco dining, stargazing, and witnessing beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Perfect for families who prefer to enjoy their time together in privacy, it offers incredible views of the Dubai skyline, the Palm Jumeirah, and the Arabian Gulf.

Staying in the Regal Suite is a truly royal experience with its own majlis seating area and lavish marble flooring. Bathed in Arabian colours and themes, this suite is the most expansive and takes the cake in terms of luxury.

All suites come with either one or two bedrooms and feature a lounge and a sprawling balcony. Visitors who stay in suites get to enjoy a long list of exclusive benefits and services like in-house breakfast, a daily newspaper delivered to your suite, priority restaurant reservations, access to complimentary fitness classes, spa treatments, and the Atlantis Kids Club, and return trips to the airport when you depart.

Signature suites

If you really want to go all out, the signature suites are for you. The Royal Bridge Suite comes with three bedrooms, a private library, a media and games room, and a 16-person dining room. Besides this, you’ll have your own guarded entrance and a private elevator which you can use to meet a team of chefs and butlers, specially dedicated to you so that you get the complete royal treatment.

The stars of the hotel—the Underwater Suites, namely the Poseidon and Neptune Underwater suites—feature master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms submerged into a 3-million-gallon aquarium. The floor-to-ceiling glass walls give you a full view of the waters of the Ambassador Lagoon and the 65,000 exotic sea animals that dwell in it. You can truly sleep with the fishes and then use your private elevator to come to the ground level whenever you want.

Other suites include the Presidential Suite and the Grand Atlantis Suite that feature private jacuzzis, multiple balconies, 24-hour butler service, exclusive cabanas, and a chance to swim with dolphins.
