With the number of UAE properties and projects expected to go online later this year, the talk in the UAE’s real estate market recently has been about slowdown inactivity, but there doesn’t seem to be a halt in the progress of the country’s property developers.
We count down the country’s top property developers. Take a look.
Holding top spot is Emaar, which boasts a gigantic presence across not only the UAE’s real estate sector but also property markets in the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia in the home, office, retail, hotel and leisure segments.
The developer behind master-planned communities and UAE properties such as Downtown Dubai and Arabian Ranches, Emaar have set new benchmarks in luxe living. One of its key projects under construction is Dubai Opera, billed as Dubai’s new cultural icon, which, in four years’ time, will grow to become the world’s largest cultural center. The Opera District when completed will be a stylish arts destination also featuring posh hotels, luxury apartments, a retail plaza, restaurants, recreational spaces, and parks.
Luxury real estate developer Damac Properties has many credits to its name. Having launched the world’s first Bugatti-styled villas in Dubai, it is the mastermind behind some of Dubai’s most spectacular projects such as Akoya Oxygen, an iconic 55-million-sq-ft master development offering a luxury lifestyle at the heart of nature and Akoya by Damac, slated to become the Beverly Hills of Dubai. High-rises, fashion residences, branded pads, retail and commercial developments, Damac has them all. The Ettore 971 Bugatti styled villas will be located within the main AKOYA Oxygen development, each with views across the Trump World Golf Club.
